Customer Information about Corona Virus

Dear customers and partners,

If you know PFISTERER, you will be aware that we prioritise safety and reliability. The health and wellbeing of our employees and business partners is our top priority.

We would therefore like to inform you about the current measures the PFISTERER Group has introduced in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Whilst we are deeply saddened by the effects the virus is having on families, communities and companies all over the world, we would like to assure you that our plants are still operating and that we are working hard to maintain our availability for you.

In its day-to-day activities, the PFISTERER Group follows the recommendations of the World Health Organization, the Federal Republic of Germany and the Robert Koch Institute regarding the prevention and spread of the disease. We have ensured that all our employees are aware of the importance of complying with these measures. We are restricting travel and participation in meetings, trade fairs and conferences. Instead, our employees are available to help you via digital communication channels and many of them are working from home.

We have created a task force to analyse the situation on a continuous basis, observe developments as they progress and stay in close contact with our vendors and our teams all over the world. We have developed business continuity plans to monitor and reduce the effects on our business activities and to ensure reliability for purchase orders and deliveries.

Disruption is currently only affecting production and logistics in China. This may lead to delivery dates being delayed for some orders. However, the current status (17/03/2020) is that only some parts of the PTS Overhead Lines business unit are affected by this. The vendor base for our PTS Cable, PDS and Railway Infrastructure business units is currently not affected. Should there still be any delivery delays to some orders due to purchased parts, customers who are affected by this will be informed as quickly as possible.

All our employees are doing their best to deal with this challenge and to minimise the spread of the virus. If you have any specific questions, please get in touch with your usual contact directly. We would like to thank you for your partnership and cooperation during this difficult period of time. We will continue to keep you up to date.

Kind regards and all the best for your health.
