Only our high voltage lab and the services (training and installation) division will continue to operate from Altdorf. “With the merger of the two sites, we are building a new sales and technology centre in Küssnacht – a substantial investment that will boost the competitiveness of the entire PFISTERER Group,” says Eduardo Santana, Managing Director of PFISTERER Switzerland AG, looking confidently to the future.
The modern facilities are flexibly designed for further growth, and offer an optimum working environment. Equipped with a new showroom, technical department and laboratory area, the new sales and technology centre will be an attractive place to meet with customers and business partners. “We are pleased to usher in a new era for PFISTERER in Switzerland. At the same time, this is a clear decision in favour of Switzerland as an important technology and innovation location,” Santana adds.
Key location for innovation, technology and sales
PFISTERER has been firmly rooted in Switzerland for around 65 years, and we are proud of our achievements – dating back to 1957 with the establishment of PFISTERER’s first foreign subsidiary. Today, the Swiss site plays an important role in the development and distribution of tailor-made components and systems for high voltage overhead lines and underground cable networks. We look forward to continuing this success story over the coming years in Küssnacht.
