THE INTERFACE TO THE WIND FARM GRID 

The connection between offshore wind turbines and the wind farm grid must be secure and reliable. Our connection system meets these requirements. We developed it specifically for high-voltage applications in the offshore sector, and it has already demonstrated its qualities in many wind farm projects. Their job: connect the elementary offshore wind turbine equipment extremely quickly – without the need for high-voltage testing after assembly.

Our repair connections for submarine cables are genuine universal geniuses. They rectify cable faults quickly and efficiently – regardless of the design or manufacturer of the relevant cable. Distribution stations in solar farms convert the collected solar power into a higher voltage and then distribute it to the electricity grid. PFISTERER's solutions for solar farms are comprehensive. These include low-voltage distribution boards, connections for medium-voltage switchgear as well as low and medium-voltage connections for distribution transformers.

CONNECTIONS FOR STRING COLLECTORS AT SOLAR FARMS

At solar farms, string collectors are responsible for collecting the electricity generated by multiple solar panels and forwarding it in bundled form to the central inverter station. A reliable current flow is vital here. PFISTERER makes sure that operators don’t have to worry about this.

CONNECTIONS FOR INVERTERS AT SOLAR FARMS
