PFISTERER advances electromobility

PFISTERER is advancing the transition to zero-emissions mobility and actively supporting the company-wide decarbonization strategy. “Protecting the environment and reducing carbon emissions concerns us all – both privately and in a corporate context. That’s why we see electromobility not only as the future, but also as an important contribution to environmental protection,” explains Tobias Liedl, Senior Vice President HR at PFISTERER.

Free charging points are now available at the Winterbach site, where employees can charge their own electric vehicles at no additional cost. More charging points will follow in the future, at Winterbach and other PFISTERER sites, sending a strong signal for sustainable mobility.

“The decision to set up the charging points is part of PFISTERER’s long-term strategy of sustainable values and strengthening the company’s future viability through environmentally friendly measures,” says Thierry Lee Héno, Plant Manager at the Winterbach site. To this end, PFISTERER is planning to strategically expand its charging infrastructure in order to meet the growing demand for sustainable mobility in the long term.

Aside from private vehicles, electric company and pool vehicles at the site will also benefit from this new infrastructure. A separate charging set-up is planned for the latter that will be gradually expanded.
